Terms of Service

PadInspector is a software platform for property inspections. It lets you capture inspections by voice, photo, and checklist; uses an AI pipeline to draft findings and reports; and syncs your work across the iOS app, Apple Watch app, and web portal.

PadInspector is offered and sold only in the United States. The Service is intended for property-inspection professionals located in the United States, and we make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in any other country. Those who access the Service from outside the United States do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.

You may not purchase a subscription, or use the Service, from outside the United States. We may refuse, suspend, or cancel accounts, or block access, that we believe originate from or are used outside the United States.

You must be at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate registration information, including valid license details where applicable, and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Your account is for your individual use; you may not share, sell, transfer, or let others use your login credentials. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions are sold only to customers in the United States and are billed in U.S. dollars. Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) until cancelled. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the web portal’s billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

Use PadInspector only for lawful property-inspection activities you are authorized to perform. Do not upload content that infringes others’ rights, violates privacy laws, or misrepresents inspection findings, and do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

You also may not share a single account among multiple people or businesses; access the Service through automated means or resell, redistribute, or provide the Service to third parties; circumvent, exceed, or interfere with usage limits, seat counts, quotas, or metering; generate excessive or abusive load on our AI, storage, or other resources; or otherwise use the Service in a way that we reasonably consider abusive, fraudulent, or a means of avoiding fees. These practices are considered abuse of the Service.

You retain ownership of the inspections, photos, and reports you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions for content you capture, including any required consent to photograph or record a property.

Findings and reports produced by our AI pipeline are drafts intended to assist a licensed inspector. They may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving all findings before delivering any report to a client or third party.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the iOS app, or from the web portal at padinspector.com/account/delete. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time, and offline functionality depends on your device state and connectivity.

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by PadInspector and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service except the limited right to use it as permitted here.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content that has not been reviewed by a licensed inspector.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PadInspector will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold PadInspector harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described above.

We may suspend, limit, ban, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion — including where we believe, in our reasonable judgment, that you have violated these Terms, misused or abused the Service, shared or resold your account, engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity, or otherwise created risk or legal exposure for us or others. We may act on suspected or perceived abuse based on our own assessment of the available signals, and we are not required to prove a violation, provide detailed reasons, or give advance notice before acting.

Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable if your account is suspended, banned, or terminated under this section, and we may retain, delete, or restrict access to content associated with a terminated account as permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in the app or web portal before they take effect, and we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
